Looking for photographers to build up a portfolio.

I've recently decided to really give this modelling a try.
Most of my photos, as you've seen, are self taken. The new ones were taken by my boyfriend (www.globalkiller.deviantart.com) who takes an interest in photography but hasn't done much.

So, I'm looking for TFP (Time for photographs? I'm no good with the lingo just yet) to build a portfolio. Or general advice if anyone has any. I'd really love to work with people who are studying photography and such, help each other out, but anyone who's looking to build their own portfolio, or willing to help out would be great.

Oh, and just to add, no perverts, or bogus twats. I am serious about this.

This is slightly related to the previous statement, but I'm not interested in nude or lingerie shots. I'm not comfortable in my body enough to do so.

I'd like to try alternative/gothic/erotic shots (but again - no nudity. You can be erotic with clothes on =]) but also soft or fantasy shots. I'll try anything.

If you've seen my gallery, you'll notice I'm a bigger girl, I can understand some people don't like that and I wont be offended if you don't wanna take photos because of my size - so if thats the case please say ^_^ But yeah - just a warning that I am big, and thats something we both got to consider when it comes to the shoot.

I'm based in Preston (North West England) so i can travel in that vage area - but not much more. And I'll be bringing my Mum/Boyfriend to shoots... you never know who's out there, do you? Please don't be offended.

Last Term... Exam Season

College on Monday and exams are due to start soon... fuck me I'm shitting myself.

I used to be one of those annoying people who didn't really need to work that hard to get good grades. But since I've hit A level - the higher standard has really thrown me and I've found it so difficult to pull the grades I've been targetted.

Also, I've always struggled to work at home. I'm just not in the right mind set to work. I've got so much homework and revision to do over the Easter holidays - including 4 essays - and I've done no essays, and hardly any other work. I'm dredding going back to College but I guess I must await my fate...

And to make things worse, I have to start looking at Universities. I haven't the foggiest about which Univeristy I want to go to. I know what I want to do (A Maths course with a Choral Scholarship if I pass the audition) it's just finding Universities that offer the Grades I'm likely to get. And do I want to take a gap year? What about finding a job in a new city in this economical climate?


So yeah - the next couple of months is going to be really stressful for me.
I can't wait until the summer rolls along... Bring on Download '09. Looking forward to a break.
